Sic et non - Part Deux

Dr dear Dr: I could not understand the response to the Question about the sick, and assumed that there might be another to explain all that messaging in the modern world, thanks?

Dear Mrs X, I had prepared a long draft of a Responsory on the subject of the sick and elderly and housebound in your parish over there, but when I printed it, found subject to advice that we cannot mention all the people that your clergy have visited and anointed this past month or two at the hospital and hospices and even in the country villages - including a lovely Lady Z - since it would be an invasion of privacy of the patients and people and flocks ever since the new laws on privacy invasion came into effect in 2018 with the European law called the GDPR, one of the last of the Eu laws to sneak under the radar of the GB Statute Book before the big shutdown of invasive laws themselves from Europe, now effectively banned by London what with the new situation of Brexit now then voted on and ratified by Queen and Parliament. Theresa had struggled hard to get the new Brexit legislation through the Commons and the Lords, but all to no avail, she failed to attain majorities on 3 separate occasions; it was only when Boris had managed to sweep into power with a snap election that everything became much easier to ratify, so that is the story from London. Anyway it is a European Law so hence it is quite strict but for some reason known only to men and angels, the Labour and Conservative parliamentarians at London decided to let this one pass and put it on the Westminster Statute Book. Still, Brexit has now gone through, so many people are now relativising if not de-emphasizing this Eu Statute, but we are still stuck with it in these parishes so close to London, and have to respect the ratio of the new law, which is essentially privacy. Hence the responsory to your Question. Blessings. Sorry, it could not have been fuller. Bless.
