Prayers & Novenas

Traditional Catholic Dedication Of Months

Every month of the year has a devotion of dedicating and remembering in a special way the different Mysteries and Saints.

Spiritual Communion

for those unable to receive Holy Communion at Mass

My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things.
I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot receive you sacramentally, come at least into my heart.
I embrace You, and I unite myself entirely, to You as if You had already come.
Do not permit me to be ever separated from you.

Prayers & Litanies to our Patron Saints

  • Be at peace.

    Do not look forward in fear to the changes of life; rather look to them with full hope as they arise.

    God, whose very own you are, will deliver you from out of them.
    He has kept you hitherto, and He will lead you safely through all things;
    and when you cannot stand it, God will bury you in his arms.

    Do not fear what may happen tomorrow;
    the same everlasting Father who cares for you today will take care of you then and every day.

    He will either shield you from suffering, or give you unfailing strength to bear it.

    Be at peace, and put aside all anxious thoughts and imagination.

Divine Mercy Chaplet

The message of The Divine Mercy is simple.

It is that God loves us – all of us. And, He wants us to recognize that His mercy is greater than our sins so that we will call upon Him with trust, receive His mercy, and let it flow through us to others. Thus, all will come to share His joy.

Divine Mercy Novena

A novena is typically nine days of prayer in preparation of a celebration of a feast day.

The Chaplet can be said anytime, but the Lord specifically asked that it be recited as a novena. He promised, "By this Novena (of Chaplets), I will grant every possible grace to souls."

Novena to the Holy Spirit

This is a powerful and moving novena that helps us open ourselves up to the third person of the Holy Trinity.

Even though we pray this novena as a preparation for the feast of Pentecost, you can also pray a novena to the Holy Spirit any time that you want.

The Beatitudes

Bloch-SermonOnTheMount.jpeg

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they who mourn, for they will be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the land. Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied.

Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Blessed are the clean in heart, for they will see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 5:1-10
