Foxing Foxes
25 November 21 - Foxes
Fr dear Fr: Why do clever people always have to fox the fox and fox each other, given that if they were simply nice to one another, the world would be a much better place to live in, surely, n-est-ce pas?
This very nice and simple Q-Anon comes from a young 17 year old Sixth Former called Leanna of Cambridgeshire. I would respond very simply too with a nice simple juxtaposition, though, in the words of one of the greatest of living philosophers in New Zealand, Socrates Lorenzo, who often used to say to us on the way to our own colleges, "It is nice to be clever, but it is more clever to be nice." So yes, the world would be a better place if people were simply nice to one another, brava, well done. We can think of the scriptures in the Book of Proverbs - "God made the world simple; man's complex problems are his own devising."
