Fr dear Fr: What have the Russians ever done for us that makes our politicians so mealy mouthed and unctious towards them in this present Cuba 62 Crisis?

GMT 9.15am 15th February 2022 - The Russians announced that they were pulling back their forward attack units of the 140,000 troops perched along the frontiers and the front line of the intended assaults on western positions around the old territory of the Ukraine. Phew. Phew, Phew Barley McGrew, Cuthbert, Dibble, Grubb. We are only just past our veritable MEGA-CRISIS like the Cuba missile crisis of Kennedy and Kruschev of 1962 and we only just avoided another world war by a hair’s breadth. Personally am amazed that this miracle solution came to pass, since in my humble books it only resolved itself by a genuine miracle and an intervention of an Oxford professor like Dr A J Ayer, a young man that the RT journalists like to amuse themselves with called Rafe Hubris, dubbing him an up and coming interventioniste of the old school. But it is difficult to stop and quink and then retrace steps in such a grave crisis and yet it seems fair to say that the Russians were driven to it by mismanagement of the case about MH-17 in the Nederlandian courts. Sanctions too imposed unintelligently by the Eu foreign ministers, and then slowly the ratcheting up of the Ukraine stance about joining Nato. All of this aggravated by a generic judgmentalism about foreign nations among secular pig-headed Eu Remainers. Even the children on the streets of Edinburgh could have cited a new saying from the Septology of Rowling - draco dormiens nusquam titillandus est - a sleeping dragon should never be aggravated or disturbed. Also when baiting a very big Russian Bear indeed, the Eu slimline dainty forces could have paused, taken 3 steps back, counted to 10 and looked round to left and then right, and maybe then should have sat down with Jesus and worked out whether they with their 10,000 men could have faced up to a king who advanced against them with 20,000 men. Do the maths. The Europeans were not up to this conflict. They were belligerent and aggressive and totally blind to the strength of the other, believing they could have help from the US Army, only to find that when push came to shove, the USA began pulling out their troops and their CIA assets too from the firing line, as did the UK, as per the conflict in South Ossetia a few years ago. So a nervous exhaustion time for all concerned. China helped the Russians and gave them the supplies that the foolish westerners were depriving Russian schoolchildren of in the last year or two. Shame on the Eu Remainers. Beating up Russian schoolchildren like school playground bullies bussed in from a bigger school. Luckily Boris had some idea of the tensions involved and worked hard to ease those tensions, sending Miss Truss to the Muscovites to plead for an end to the state of war. So it has turned out not to be a Poland 1939, and we can all breathe a sigh of relief, while putting up our shutters on our windows. A hair’s breadth. So another Cuba 62 averted. Thanks to all the parishioners this last month who have joined Fr B and the wolvertonians and wolvercotes in vigils of prayer to Our Lady of Holy Mother Russia. To prevent this sort of thing from happening again, it is time people got on to their MPs for some stern words to the Eu foreign ministers for getting us into this mess in the first place and behaving like servile slaves to American secular ambitionism and Nato imbecillic expansionism against all the assurances given to Russia by them in 1992. A hair’s breadth. Russia by the grace of God and the favour of history is now a Christian Federation which does not have much truck with the way that western nations have fallen into the same desuetude of the Soviets so we can count on a little Christian reserve and compassion, but it will not bode well for the future if we have to go through more rubbish from Eu FMs about sanctions on a Christian Empire, and Christian it has been to put up with so much secular atheist provocation from the western sides. Woke MPs needed next time please. So give peace a chance.
