Q-130 - 19th Jan 22: Wars?

Rev dear Rev: Is the onset of a large War really just something directly willed by God as per the popular Russian expression - tis the will of God, no opposition please; or is there some dark quality again directly willed by the Lord Lucifer about it all, or is it merely the fruit of human moral evil and base motivation like the pursuit of rocket designs in Kazakhstan or oil in the Ukraine; whichever the Dickens is it?

There are some books in the Bible that offer some guidance on this vexed and sore tried question to which the immediate short term answer is neither ... nor quite frankly:

- The Book of Job;

- The Gospel of John;

- The Revelations of John;

- I and II Thessalonians;

- Matthew's Gospel;

- Luke's Gospel.

Not something willed directly by God in the main, unless it is a crusade to save the poor little pilgrims from arab slave traders raiding coastlines all the way up to Cornwall for blonde children, and yet not something willed directly by the evil side of the dark forces below the world surface like Lord Lucifer. Some base motive can always be found to why the onset of war starts from time to time, such as oil in the Soviet Union, or shops in Kuwait, or maybe yellowcake in Nigeria eventually, or diamonds in the RSA, or even in all this heatwave city, the green and pleasant soft rolling hills of Ireland and Britain. But allow me to explain further:

Quietism and Pietism do mean that the companies that start conflicts with the people like Union Carbide, even if this was all an accident, can get away with such spillages and pollutions and gaseous intrusions in to the lungs of little ones as the song by the Black Eyed Peas, Where is the Love, goes. Many modern spirituals entertain a species of Quietism and Pietism in the modern mood and the modern world and its attendant Fatalism when reflecting on death and life at the end of an Age of Covid, seems like forever doesn't it? But this is more possibly as a result of the sheer exhaustion and tiredness of it all, the sheer enormous effort of staying alive one more day, and the sadness and darkness of the ubiquitous fingers of cold Death and its Grim Reaper. A certain Fatalism has crept in the back door of most moderns and even among the normally ebullient and optimistic believers in the western world. With it, a certain resignation that everything so put in the modern post-Wuhan world is something actually and directly willed by God and by him alone. But this is not the case. Indeed we pray for God's will to be done in heaven and on earth, in the Pater Noster, precisely because the planet is dark and unruly and full of immoral anarchy, so some human base motive is possible. But all this is tired resignation Theology and not sufficiently dark for moderne mystics. Yes, I said, not sufficiently dark. For the following reasons:

- Atheism has no place for suffering people - it is simply absurd;

- Empirical Materialism is a medicine in an empty shell, offering little consolation;

- But a Dark Account is sometimes needed a la the teaching of Leo XIII in 1889;

- In this Leo XIII picture, there is a Millennial Accord kept between the angels;

- Millennia of peace was agreed between the warring angels before homo sapiens evolved;

- As part of the Angelic Peace Accords it was agreed that sometimes the dark side could arise;

- That whenever, once a century, the immoral sins of humankind became too dark,

- Lucifer would be enabled to arise from his dungeon and demand consent for pestilence or war;

- Or sometimes he might be empowered or emboldened to demand a destructive war;

- This would be designed he would reason to impose an penance on the proud on the superbia;

- And remove a goodly proportion of the evil overfed humans for which there was no peace;

- The evil and the corrupt, especially the conflictual kinds, could thus be removed;

- And thuswise, Lucifer would himself help to restore the innocence of the world;

- Since in his reasons, God made the world simple, man's problems are his own evil devising;

- So the evil and wicked would be removed for a host of reasons, superbia being the chief one.

So according to the Nostrodamus Schema, the reasons for the onset of wars are complex, and not always a mix and match, but rarely are these directly willed by God himself or directly even willed by Lord Lucifer since he is doing the human race a favour, knowing as he does the primitive barbarism and machine-like cruelty of humans to weaker humans, superbia being the chief problem, and this occurs mostly in the rich and famous. No demon was ever as cruel and monumentally heartless as the German Nazi doctors were to their little innocent Jewish patients - a wonderment that Israel does not declare war on the modern purveyors of German ideology - some  having recovered through the young people and their mobile phones from the flirtation with the Germans of once upon a time. A wonder indeed. But wars begin for a variety of reasons, many of them to do with human immoral evil and base economic motive. Amen to that. Humans being grotty to humans, or as the saintly pope who survived the German Nazis used to say, "nothing like man's inhumanity to man."
