Last Days

Dr dear Dr: I am a Christian belieber but am still somewhat fazed by the onset of the idea of the Last Day and the Final General Judgement, since I am thinking I do not wish to be ostracised and condemned but that that might happen, are my fears grounded as a Christian belieber?

The Final Judgement, the last day, it is all out there and depicted in the Christian Art of the Sistine Chapel in Rome, if anyone wishes to doubt its centrality to the Christian corpus of doctrines and teachings and tenets - it is a genuine tenet of the Faith. But spiritual directors of the modern evangelical catholic wing of the Church now like to tell believers that if they are a Christian believer then they will receive a “judgement of mercy” as a Christian, whereas the average person who is agnostic and atheist will receive a “judgement of justice.” So that is where things stand at the moment in a field of theology called Soteriology.
