Divine
Cassiopeia Questions
Rev dear Rev - Why a divine saviour like Jesus? Why not men? Ordinary men?
Show me a man that could put up and endure the 15 Sufferings of Christ - Google that - on the night before his death, and I will show you why ordinary men should not apply for the job of messiah of the world, assuming there is a vacancy for the job in our time frame, though St Paul says some still have to make up for the Sufferings of Christ in our own time. This Question came in from a Chinese lady that watches Channel 9 and is living beyond the confines of this mortal parish.
Voici un "SOS d'un terrien en detresse" as freshly and yet gingerly sung by the spectacular YouTube voice of young 16 year old Giulia Falcone, the world is sometimes in deep and chronic distress - how to save it? It sometimes take a sweet voice sweetly pitched to pose of us deeper questions than the merely physical or merely obvious or even merely natural, and one of these questions is the issue of the saving of the world. But in the New Testament Writers of John and Paul and Luke, they were not totally confused by this moral maze, putting it down to a variety of factors, but all reducible at times of crisis to one key feature of the homeworld of the human race, namely the world is in distress or en detresse because of one dark hidden secret, the metaphysical darkness of the planet because "men have shown they prefer the darkness to the light" and Bp Vigano assures us from his many Exorcism rituals that the demons themselves and their leader confidently assert each time they are confronted by the mess in front of them that there is no demon that is darker than the individual human that is beyond the Pale - demons for instance have for long asserted that the Shoah Holocaust was not their work, but the work of a fresh brave new world Science Society gone clinical, seeking out its own justification, about a General Theory of Superiority which the Nazis felt arose from Evolution and the Darwin theory of the Survival of the Fittest. So it all arose from the Beagle.
Anyway, so the cause of the mess of the world arises from the human heart. Why not men? Most men when they become prime ministers or presidents or chairmen of oriental republics always almost without exception believe that they can make a difference, that they can save the world being mere men or maybe supermen, and it is only with the passing of time that these same men realise that the work is too great for a mortal man, too great for one man on his own, and that the work is above all a spiritual work and not just an economic or social project, whatever the amazing energy and dynamism of an Alexandria Occasio Cortez for such social projects and social engineerings, Sage or no sage. In sum they begin to realise once in office that they are up against the enemies of the state yes, but also that they are up against darker forces than they can contend against, in the dim gloom of the world.
Ordinary men in such high places need not only spiritual virtue but also spiritual farsight, and this is not given to all and sundry; in fact it is given very rarely, and in the Bible we have only one example of one king who petitioned the right gifts at his coronation, "wisdom and understanding", and that was Solomon. For a divine saviour, the world was dark, as Jesus himself sometimes said - "If you then who are evil, know how to give good things to your children, how much more, your Father in heaven?" So a world in such an impossible mess of so much evil and crime and sins against humanity, "humankind's inhumanity to humanity", could only be saved by a divine mind.
