Angels
26th November 21 - Angels
Rev dear Rev - Why do God create angels?
Another grammarian and a bit of an amusing grammarnazi came along while I was reading this Q-Anon from a young girl in East Anglia, and she said, "Look, the phrasing is all wrong, what she should be saying is - Why does God create angels, not Why do God create angels?" But I told her of the old Trial saying with apologies to Pilate, "quod scripsit, scripsit, what she has written she has written." And also it is providential, because the little girl is hinting that in her singular and blessed vision of the matter of the creation of human souls and spiritual angels, since out of the mouths of babes comes wisdom, following the cosmology of Plato in the Phaedrus, that there are more Persons in God than the one Person, that there are also heavenly powers beyond the one God above, that there are 3 Persons in the Trinity but that they too also have heavenly creation mechanisms and powers and dominions that perform these tasks. Angels yes, dearie, are very important indeed. More important in some ways than the humans, though a human from this planet has been appointed as their Queen, namely Miriam.
