Fr dear Fr: While I perfectly understand that a pope and indeed any pope is only infallible when teaching consciously about faith or custom, with an intent to define, what do you consider to have been the 3 biggest mistakes of the Francesco Era?

There have been some notable successes of this new papacy, chief among them being his adroit tackling of cancel woke culture this week, his expert handling of a voracious media, plus his remarks though unpopular about the selfishness of couples who choose pets rather than children as a good of marriage; still one might humbly suggest that for many westerners of the Church from Austria from whence this Question comes, there were 3 possible errors of judgement in this papacy that are often cited as amounting to 3 grandee mistakes of the papacy, assuming the westerner critics are not mistaken and simply being too conservatif:

  1. The Peace Treaty with the Imams of the UAE, plus the building projected for an all in one church-mosque-synagogue over there - not always prudent to be overly eirenical after Assisi 87;

  2. The decision to try to incarnate a theology of mercy and to break new ground in epikeia ministry in Chapter 8 of Amoris Laetitia, the early encyclical of the papacy - not everybody appreciated a departure from tradition in marriage law, even failing to impress the normally saintly and detached mind of the great American dubium cardinal, Ray Burke;

  3. The decision to reach out and embrace the customs and mores of the Amazonian Indians and to have a naked madonna style Pachamama installed on the altars of the ancient city of the early Christians - not always wise to bend over backwards to such things since such naked madonnas are already an offence to our protestant scandinavian lutheran friends.

    So some room for improvement in the next. Germany calling?
